Lad

Lad is a sweet, gentle young collie who has just joined Collie Rescue of Greater Illinois. He comes from a loving lifelong collie household and has clearly been well cared for.

Lad enjoys car rides, morning outings, and relaxed walks in the park. He has also completed professional training and earned his Certified Therapy Dog title. He has a calm, easygoing temperament — he’s not a chaser of cars or cats — and he listens well on walks. Lad eats Science Diet Digestive Support and does best on a routine that keeps his sensitive tummy comfortable. Lad is settling into his foster home now, and we are still getting to know his needs, preferences, and ideal adoptive match. More information will be shared once his foster evaluation is complete.
