Shiloh is a 9-year-old, sable and white Rough Collie gentleman who loves a calm, cozy life and a soft spot on the couch. Fully house trained, gentle, and easygoing, he’s looking for a relaxed home that appreciates the steady companionship of a well-mannered senior friend.

Shiloh has quickly shown his foster family that he’s a trustworthy, low-maintenance companion. He doesn’t counter surf or look for mischief and prefers to settle in one favorite pet bed for the night, sleeping soundly until it’s time to go outside in the morning. He’s fully house trained, moves carefully around seniors, and handles vet visits and everyday handling like a star. While he’s not a fan of crates, he has proven he doesn’t need one. This laid-back boy enjoys a slower pace and would thrive as an only dog or with another calm, older dog rather than energetic youngsters. He does well with adults and teens, and would be most comfortable with children over five who understand the needs of an older dog. Shiloh’s moderate energy level, low vocalization, and excellent ability to settle make him a great fit for a quieter home, including an apartment, as long as he has regular walks and a fenced yard or safe area for off-leash play.
